Together for Life NGO held in Dibër the first information session within the project "Patients' rights in the justice system". Citizens were introduced to the constitutional and legal framework for the protection of patients' rights, the responsible institutions and the procedures to be followed for the protection of the right to health.

This project aims to improve the level of involvement and access to justice of patients and other actors at the local level, in the municipalities of Dibër and Lushnjë, through awareness-raising, counseling and judicial litigation activities.

Lack of specialist doctors and diagnostic equipment, lack of medicines, the phenomenon of corruption to provide health care in state health institutions, were some of the problems that citizens raised.

The activity took place in the framework of the Project "Patients' Rights in the justice system" implemented by "Together for Life", as part of the Project "Involvement of civil society for a functional and equal justice system for all in Albania", which is funded by the European Union and implemented by Save the Children and the Center for Integrated Legal Services and Practices.
