The tourist village of Thethi suffered a total lack of health care for 22 years.
This situation has brought great problems not only for residents but also for tourists as the lack of health care has often ended in tragedy. The first phase of the project enabled the return the health service for the first time in 20 years . To achieve this goal, these steps were followed.
"Together for Life" was able to restore the needed service to about 500 residents of this area and thousands of tourists. This center provides basic health services and hosts any emergency. Two nurses and a doctor and offers 24 hour service. The head of the village has enabled the accommodation of health personnel during the summer months. The Ministry of Health has assured that the health service will not be missing during the summer months or the coming years and they will provide additional payment for work difficulties.
The health center is also equipped with solar panels for hot water and energy so that there are no problems at any time.
