"Together for Life" in cooperation with the newspaper 'Health +' held today the fair of information and awareness of citizens about the environmental situation in the country and the health consequences caused by air pollution.
According to a recent study conducted by the Institute of Public Health, the most common diseases due to pollution are: cases of children born with abnormalities, asthmatic problems, lung problems, skin problems, vision, hypertension, malignant diseases, etc.
Many citizens expressed interest in getting acquainted with the materials published in the newspaper ‘Health +’ and assessed that these materials are provided free of charge, as this gives them the opportunity to be informed more.
A citizen says: “I am very interested in the latest news or health information. The mother can not afford every visit to the doctor, but at least we can be informed how to prevent or cure ourselves some diseases that come from garbage that we throw away and infections that come to us from the environment that we have polluted with our hands ”.
In addition to information, citizens were given free newspapers, with supplements prepared by the staff of the newspaper 'Health +' for reports, the latest data and interviews with the most famous doctors in the field of health.
Every citizen should be aware that the environment around him and the way he is treated affects him and others. Therefore, the appeal that the "Together for Life" makes to all citizens, is to increase the care and maintenance of the environment, not only today, but every day of the year. He belongs to us all, let us preserve nature and the benefits it gives us!

This activity took place within the project “Clean air in Tirana; more walking, cycling and urban transport ”, enabled by the Achieve program and implemented by the Regional Environmental Center in Albania, REC Albania with the financial support of the European Union in Albania.
