Together with a group of young people from the Vocational School "Nazmi Rushiti" Peshkopi we visited the milk processing factory Ngota, which for years brings to market the best and highest quality dairy products in the domestic market
This factory, one of the largest in the North area, offers quality and safe dairy products, not only in the area of Dibra, but throughout the country. The young people were introduced to the most advanced technology used in this factory and the various processes through which the processing of milk and the production of its by-products goes.
Hundreds of families from rural areas of Dibra are supported by this venture, which enables especially small farmers to find a stable market for the sale of milk and to provide a permanent income.
Representatives of the dairy factory "Ngota" welcomed the students inside of the factory and encouraged them to carry out Professional Internships at this business, in order to increase their practical skills.
This activity took place in the framework of the project "Fighting organized crime and supporting the development of young people in Dibër", supported by the Global Initiative Against International Organized Crime, which aims to increase interaction, networking and cooperation between young people and local businesses, providing training opportunities and professional internships, as well as youth employment.
Similar activities will take place in the coming days in other businesses in Dibra, in which young people from vocational schools will be introduced to different job profiles, to prepare for the labor market after graduation.
