Together for Life, held a meeting with representatives of the Municipality of Patos, experts and environmental engineers. During the meeting was presented the project "Information - communication on environmental policies, focused on urban waste management", and discussed the implementation of the environmental program of the municipality.
Blerina Troka, environmental expert at the Municipality, spoke about what the municipality has done since taking office until today, to improve the environmental situation, and stressed the issues that need intervention. Troka mentioned waste management in the territory of the municipality of Patos, environmental hotspots, as well as the oil extraction area in Zharrëz.
During the meeting, priorities were set in identifying polluted areas in the municipality of Patos through the Trash - Out application, and bridges of cooperation were established for the continuation of the project.
This meeting took place in the framework of the Senior Albania program supported by REC Albania with funds from the Swedish Government.
