Representatives of the six winning organizations of the sub-grants, supported within the framework of the project “Supporting Participation, Accountability, and Civil Empowerment” (SPACE), financially supported by the European Commission, attended a two-day training offered by TFL.

The purpose of the training was to build the capacity of the staff of the winning organizations and empower them to manage projects, and strengthen their abilities in community activation for advocacy and lobbying at the local level, to improve policies in the health and education sectors.

The organizations benefiting from the small grants—ALTRI Center, IRCA, CSDS Durrës, QSNNN-Fushë Arrëz, SH.D.F.K.SH.P – Elbasan, and SHIS—will implement their winning projects in the coming months. These projects are focused on oversight, advocacy, and lobbying in the health and education sectors at the local level. The projects will be implemented in Tirana, Elbasan, Durrës, Kavajë, Fushë-Arrëz, Pukë, and Shkodër.

Synimi i granteve është të mbështesin organizatat lokale të ushtrojnë rolin e tyre mbikëqyrës dhe angazhojnë komunitetin në aksione advokuese dhe lobuese.

The SPACE project is being implemented by the Together for Life association, in collaboration with BIRN Albania, Qëndresa Qytetare, and Destiny Center for Excellence, with financial support from the European Union.
