ABOUT US

Together for Life (TFL) "Together for Life" (TFL) association is a non political, non governmental and not-for-profit organization, established in late 2009 as an initiative of a group of reputable journalists as a membership organization.

TFL has undertaken a range of innovative and successful projects and activities. It has gained reputation as the first and most prominent organization dealing in health rights in the country; as well as has expanded its activity to promote the debate on the building of civil society and a culture of human rights in Albania; with a focus on vulnerable communities; communities living in remote or economically less advantaged areas; women and youth.
Together for Life Organization (TFL) since its inception is playing an active role socio-economic betterment and cultural development of the society through a rights-based approach. TFL has successfully managed and implemented project on human rights, patients rights; labor rights; economic empowerment and good governance and achieved remarkable milestones.
TFL was founded on values of transparency, participatory approach; teamwork; commitment and efficiency based on the principles of development and coordination of all stakeholders in the development process.

TFL has implemented several projects on patients rights; investigating and raising awareness on management practices in the healthcare area; promotion and protection of youth and women rights and social realization.

We work with people and communities to promote a just and equitable society that guarantees their rights and realization.

Vizioni

A society in which people can enjoy their rights, are valued and treated equally and where they can participate fully to realize their full social, economic and cultural potential.

 

TFL is directed by the Assembly of Members (five people).

We mainly work with the following social actors:

✅​ Rights holders:Individuals and communities, especially those from disadvantaged groups and we pay special attention to women and girls. Our efforts are grounded in close collaboration with communities to support them and ensure sustainability of our efforts. We work with a wide range of stakeholders, such as women; youth; patients; employees; ethnic minorities, populations in disadvantaged areas; etc. TFL relies on the network of its collaborators and promotes establishment of closer ties and long-lasting relationships with our support base.

National and local state institutions;as well as international partners and donors. We seek alliances with public institutions that contribute to achieving t our objectives within the framework of human rights promotion. Our efforts are aligned with the national strategies and priorities of the EU integration agenda; at the same time we monitor and play a watchdog role on government actions, to ensure that they are complying with international and national human rights norms.

Civil society and media: We cooperate with civil society and in particular media to reach out to communities and increase awareness on human rights related issues.

Znj. RAIMONDA DALIPAJ

Rajmonda has completed her bachelor’s studies in Finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. She has attended various trainings session and professionals’ courses, primarily outside Albania. Rajmonda has held the position of financial officer for several years in civil society organizations such as: Masmedia and Environment Association, Eco-Monitoring Group Center etc.

BORA TRAJKO

Bora graduated as an English language teacher from the Education Faculty at the University “Fan. S. Noli” in Korce. She has 17 years of experience working with civil society organizations in the fields of environment, like Eco-Monitoring Group Center etc. She has primarily held coordinating positions, being responsible for coordinating project activities and preparing reports for both for the donor and local government.

She has attended several trainings on health and environmental issues, organized by REC, SIDA, UNDP etc.

ENTELA BARJAMAJ

Entela is an investigative journalist with extensive experience of work in national Albanian televisions like: Top Channel, A1 Television, Ora News, A1 Report etc. She completed her bachelor’s studies in Journalism in 2008 and obtained a master’s degree in Public Relation in 2017, Faculty of History and Philology at the University of Tirana. Entela has received prestigious awards for her contribution in journalism. For example: Union of Journalists awarded her with the prize "Vangjush Gambeta" 2023 for her the documentary "Board of (No) Transparency”. Additionally, OSCE Presence in Albania in 2020 awarded her the price for the best investigative feature regarding healthcare. Her investigative documentary “Pill fraud – Patients prescriptions are filled with fictitious supplements”, focused on a very sensitive topic for the general public: medical prescriptions and the large amounts of supplements the Albanian citizen is consuming instead of medical pills.

AMBRI PELINKU

Ambri is an ambitious professional who completed his Bachelor’s studies in Architecture in 2015 and his Master’s studies in 2019 at the Polytechnic University of Tirana. He has nine years of working experience with several companies, mainly managerial positions. Ambri has also been an active member of several civil society organizations. As a very good connoisseur of design programs, he has made significant contributions to enhancing the visibility of the actions undertaken by these organizations

SILVIA DERVISHI

Silvia has studied International Relations at European University in Tirana. Since 2018, she has been a staff member of Beyond Barriers Association and currently holds the position of the program manager. This non-profit organization works with young people in national, regional and European levels, by promoting inclusion and skills through non formal education. Silvia has attended several trainings related to her field of work. It is worth mentioning her participation at Enter! long-term training course on social rights, September 2021 – October 2022, organized by Council of Europe. The course provides complementary training for youth workers and those working on youth policies on how to promote social rights for young people.

ALKETA LAMANI

Mrs. Alketa Lamani has been engaged in civil society for over 20 years, working with the Vlora Youth Center.
She has extensive experience in implementing programs for youth and the community and has been directly involved in managing various programs related to participation in local decision-making processes and community development.
Mrs. Lamani has a broad and consolidated professional background and expertise in the territory of Vlora, in the areas of civic engagement, local governance, advocacy, and advanced participation methods.
She has worked with international organizations and various institutions in Albania.
Mrs. Alketa is currently serving as the Local Coordinator for Together for Life,
assisting in the
implementation of various activities
ndërkombëtare, dhe institucione të ndryshme në Shqipëri.
Znj. Alketa është e angazhuar si Kordinatore Lokale për Together for Life, për të asistuar në
implementimin e aktiviteteve të ndryshme për programet që zbaton TFL në rajonin e Jugut.

ZAMIRA ÇABIRI

Zamira Çabiri has completed university in medicine and specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. After several years of working in the provision of medical services as a general practitioner and in public health related to family planning and reproductive health, she has been a lecturer for over 15 years at the "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University in the Faculty of Technical and Medical Sciences in Elbasan. For many years, she has also been involved in the civil society sector through collaborations with various organizations. She is assigned to TFL as the local coordinator for the Elbasan region within the framework of the SOLIDAR project – Together in health emergencies, as well as in other programs.
Pas disa vitesh punë në ofrimin e shërbimeve mjeksore si mjeke e përgjithshme dhe në
shëndetin public në lidhje me planifikimin familjar dhe shëndetin riprodhues. Prej më shumë se
15 vitesh tashmë është pedagoge në Universitetin “Aleksandër Xhuvani” në Fakultetin e
Shkencave Teknike dhe Mjeksore, në Elbasan. Prej shumë vitesh është e angazhuar dhe në
sektorin e shoqërisë civile, nëoërmjet bashkëpunimeve me organizata të ndryshme. Ajo është
atashuar TFL si kordinatore lokale për Qarkun e Elbasanit në kuadër të projektit SOLIDAR-
Bashkë në emergjencat shëndetësore, por dhe në programe të tjera.

LINDITA HYSENI

Lindita Hyseni is a civil society activist in the Puka region and has been engaged in this sector for over 10 years. She leads the organization "Youth Movement for Democracy," contributing to addressing many of the needs of young people and the community, including guidance, empowerment, counseling, and advocacy. For Together for Life, she has served as the local coordinator for the Puka area for more than two years in various programs, mainly for the SOLIDAR project—Together in Health Emergencies.

ALMINDA MEMA

Alminda Mema has been involved in the field of civil society for more than 13 years and leads an environmental protection organization operating in Northern Albania. With several years of experience in the field of civil emergencies and in the community, she contributes as local coordinator of the organization "Together for Life" within the framework of the "Solidar" project.

REXHINA UZUNI

Rexhina Uzuni is an experienced Project Coordinator and Physiotherapist with a strong background in health program management and community-focused healthcare initiatives. Currently serving as the Rehabilitation Program Leader at a community-based NGO in Tirana, Rexhina has worked extensively with ethnic minorities, the Roma community, the elderly in care homes, emigrants, and individuals living in challenging socio-economic conditions. In addition to their ongoing role, Rexhina has recently taken on the position of Local Coordinator for TFL the Tirana region as part of the SOLIDAR project – Together in Health Emergencies, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. With a deep commitment to building inclusive, effective, and sustainable approaches to health, Rexhina strives to empower communities to be active participants in their well-being.

vështira.
Përveç rolit të saj aktual, Rexhina eshte koordinatore lokale për TFL për rajonin e Tiranës si
pjesë e projektit SOLIDAR – "Bashkë ne Emergjencat Shëndetësore", financuar nga Agjencia
Zvicerane për Zhvillim dhe Bashkëpunim.
Me një angazhim të thellë për të ndihmuar në ndërtimin e politikave gjithëpërfshirëse, efektive
dhe të qëndrueshme në shëndetësi, Rexhina synon të fuqizojë komunitetet për t’u bërë
pjesëmarrës aktivë në mirëqenien e tyre.
