Together for Life is known as one of the first organizations in Albania that is engaged in the protection of patients' rights.
TFL implements projects that focus on:
✅continuous cooperation with central and local healthcare and human rights institutions in order to increase the quality of healthcare services and increase access to them, especially for vulnerable groups;
✅constant pressure on the institutions responsible for increasing transparency in policy making and distribution and spending of funds made available to this sector;
✅monitoring the implementation of health policies to ensure the effectiveness of services;
✅informing, promoting, raising awareness of patients about their rights and the ways and means that can and should be used when neglected, any of these rights are violated;
✅investigating and mobilizing institutional and legal mechanisms to protect the right of individual patients to guaranteed health care.
