Call for local coordinator in framework of the project: "Increasing the social and economic sustainability of vulnerable groups affected by the earthquake in the municipality of Shijak".
Specific criteria for the local coordinator
Persons interested in the position of coordinator must complete the following requirements:
- To be resident in the Municipality of Shijak;
- Have graduated in one of the branches of social sciences;
- Have over two years of experience in implementing community projects full-time, part-time, or even as a volunteer;
- To be active and involved in community actions in the municipality of Shijak;
- Have experience in cooperation with local structures, in actions, actions that aim to involve the community in decision-making;
- To be motivated to work in and with the community to identify issues that create the community;
- Willing to cooperate closely and share information at any time with project staff, municipality structures and community activists;
- To report periodically monthly on the progress of field work according to project forecasts.
Specific tasks
The local coordinator will be responsible for organizing activities as follows:
- Organizing five meetings with the community
- Collaborate with selected activists to identify five issues of concern to the community
- Conception and implementation in cooperation with the project, the municipality and the activists of the five community initiatives
- Organizing in cooperation with the two-day training project with representatives of the Municipality and community activists
- Organizing the campaign in the community through the distribution of posters and promotional stickers in the most important points of Shijak municipality for the platform that will help the community to share with the local structures their problems and concerns.
