Child protection is a shared responsibility among all members of the community.
As defined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, education is one of the basic criteria for the healthy and safe development of the child. While parents play a key role in raising children, schools play a major role in the process of integrating children into society.
Together for Life Association has conducted a series of trainings with teachers in schools in Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe and Puka.
About 75 teachers have been trained in identifying, reporting and managing cases of violence against children, mechanisms for protecting children from violence and abuse.
This activity took place in the framework of the project "Protection of children from violence and abuse through inclusive education", implemented by the association Together for Life, within the small grant scheme of the project "Promotion of human rights through inclusive education and empowerment of Local Civil Society Organizations ”funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Association for Solidarity in partnership with the AVSI Foundation and the Association Woman in Development Shkodra.
