These activities were organized in cooperation with the municipalities, the Operator of Health Care Services (OSHKSH), the Albanian Red Cross, health centers, and other local stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>From city squares to community centers and administrative units, the activities brought first aid information closer to citizens and created spaces for awareness, dialogue, and practical demonstrations. Instructors from the Albanian Red Cross demonstrated how citizens can respond in the first minutes of an emergency, including situations such as choking, fainting, seizures and other circumstances that require a rapid and appropriate response.<\/p>\n<p>Activities brought together representatives from OSHKSH offices, municipalities, health centers, local organizations, members of Community Resilience Networks (CRN), and many citizens from local communities.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond raising awareness, these activities provided an opportunity to strengthen the connection between communities and institutions involved in emergency preparedness and response. Because when an emergency happens, the community is there. Basic first aid knowledge can make a significant difference in the first few minutes, and every citizen can be an important link in the chain of survival.<\/p>\n<p>Through these activities, SOLIDAR continues to invest in communities that are better informed, better prepared, and better equipped to respond to emergency situations, while promoting cooperation, solidarity, and volunteering at the local level.<\/p>\n<p>First aid is not just a skill.
