{"id":35163,"date":"2026-01-05T10:42:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-05T09:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.togetherforlife.org.al\/?p=35163"},"modified":"2026-08-05T10:49:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T08:49:08","slug":"violet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.togetherforlife.org.al\/en\/violet\/","title":{"rendered":"VIOLET"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Title of Project: VIOLET - Towards workplaces without sexual harassment and violence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Implementation period:\u00a0<\/strong>01.05.2025 \u2013 30.04.2028<\/p>\n<p><strong>Total project budget:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Funding programme: <\/strong>Co-funded by the European Union<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal:<\/strong> The project aims to contribute to safe working environment without sexual harassment.<\/p>\n<p>The project addresses sexual harassment and workplace violence through an integrated approach that combines situational analysis, targeted interventions, case response, and awareness-raising and communication activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project partners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Slovak National Centre for Human Rights (SNCHR) - Slovakia<\/li>\n<li>The Office of the Equal Opportunities Ombudsperson (OEOO) of Lithuania<\/li>\n<li>The Commission for Equality at Labour and Employment (CITE) of Portugal<\/li>\n<li>Plataforma Portuguesa para os Direitos das Mulheres (ASSOCIACAO, PT) (PpDM) \u2013 Portugal<\/li>\n<li>Comenius University Bratislava (CU BA) - Slovakia<\/li>\n<li>The Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination (CPD ALB) \u2013Albania<\/li>\n<li>Together for Life in Albania (TFL) \u2013 Albania<\/li>\n<li>The Commission for Protection and Prevention against Discrimination (CPPD) - North Macedonia<\/li>\n<li>The Public Defender of Rights (PDR CZ) -  Czechia<\/li>\n<li>The European Network of Equality Bodies (EQUINET) - Czechia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enhance capacities of NEBs to tackle SH and upscale impact of their work.<\/li>\n<li>Increase understanding to prevalence of SH at the workplace including risk factors, barriers to \nreporting and prevention practices at the workplaces.<\/li>\n<li>Increase safety at workplaces through preventive measures implemented at organisational level.<\/li>\n<li>Increase effectivity of national policies and cooperation of key actors.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen legal protection from SH at the workplace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Variety of professionals working in prevention of SH and\/or protection of victim's rights will \ndevelop their professional capacity.<\/li>\n<li>NEBs will have access to up-to-date findings about SH as a form of discrimination that will be \nused within the mandate of NEBs and NHRIs.<\/li>\n<li>Project will increase cooperation of stakeholders to address SH on national levels: labour \ninspectorates, trade unions, equality bodies, repr. of employers and repr. of employees including ppl \nwith disabilities, queer community, ethnic and national minorities etc.<\/li>\n<li>Project will initiate and nurture systemic changes within organisations by implementation of \npreventive measures.<\/li>\n<li>Project will bring about impact on the systemic level also by assessment and evaluation of \nlegal framework.<\/li>\n<li>Project will increase awareness of the public by targeted communication campaigns on national \nlevels.<\/li>\n<li>The project will contribute to increased level of reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Integration of prevention programmes into the regular activities of equality bodies.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting legal reforms in accordance with European Union and International Labour Organization (ILO) standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Long-term impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting sustainable and lasting institutional change through the implementation of codes of conduct and protective mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the implementation of national and EU legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Development of sustainable training and awareness-raising tools.<\/li>\n<li>Promoting a zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment in the workplace.<\/li>\n<li>Improving the safety and well-being of employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Titulli i projektit: VIOLET\u00a0 &#8211;
