Citizens were introduced to the constitutional and legal framework for the protection of patients' rights, the responsible institutions and the procedures to be followed for the protection of the right to health.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: Poppins;\">This project aims to improve the level of involvement and access to justice of patients and other actors at the local level, in the municipalities of Dib\u00ebr and Lushnj\u00eb, through awareness-raising, counseling and judicial litigation activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-29097 alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/new.togetherforlife.org.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Mungesa-e-mjekeve.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"894\" height=\"508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.togetherforlife.org.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Mungesa-e-mjekeve.jpg 894w, https:\/\/new.togetherforlife.org.al\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Mungesa-e-mjekeve-480x273.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 894px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: Poppins;\">Lack of specialist doctors and diagnostic equipment, lack of medicines, the phenomenon of corruption to provide health care in state health institutions, were some of the problems that citizens raised.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: Poppins;\">The activity took place in the framework of the Project \"Patients' Rights in the justice system\" implemented by  \"Together for Life\", as part of the Project \"Involvement of civil society for a functional and equal justice system for all in Albania\", which is funded by the European Union and implemented by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/savethechildrenal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Save the Children<\/a> and the Center for Integrated Legal Services and Practices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-family: Poppins;\">** This article was produced by Together for Life within the project \"Patients' Rights in the Justice System\", as part of the grant scheme of the project \"Involvement of civil society for a functioning and equal justice system for all in Albania \u201d, funded by the European Union and implemented by Save the Children in partnership with the Center for Integrated Legal Services and Practices.
