Title of the project: TUNE – Transnational United Network in Europe

The main objectives of the project are:

  • Raise awareness of the EU Youth Strategy including the European Youth Goals, through actions to engage, connect and empower youth;
  • Boost youth stakeholder participation, including by building upon the potential of digital communication alongside other forms of participation;
  • Boost youth civil society involvement in the dissemination of policy and programme actions including results and good practices among their membership and beyond.

The project aims to implement a variety of activities, including:

  • Advocacy training in Brussels – Three-day training for 18 young people, including those with fewer opportunities and 3 decision-makers.
  • Pre-campaign before advocacy event – Collect questions and recommendations for European Democracy from at least 360 young people through an online form.
  • Engagement with European parliament Members – Constructive dialogue with 3 decision-makers and 20 young participants.
  • Online Campaign in EU Elections Post-Training – Social media campaign reaching at least 5000 people before the EU elections.
  • Online training on ICT tools and e-participation – Four day training for 18 youth workers/project managers and 2 trainers.
  • Online booklet and accessibility menu – Booklet on e-democtratic tools, shared with at least 200 stakeholders.
  • Follow-up local activities post-online training – Local activities by each partner organization, engaging at least 270 young people.

The project follows a methodology of continuous training for network members, focusing on the European Youth Strategy and its youth goals. It aims to transfer this knowledge into the fields of youth and develop good practices for increasing involvement and civil society participation in EU projects.
